Foster Care Clinical Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Clinical Coordinator to join our Foster Care Team. As the Clinical Coordinator, you will work closely with all of our Southern California offices in ensuring the overall quality of the treatment program for our foster youth under contract with Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside contracts. This position will include some driving with mileage reimbursement.

  • The Clinical Coordinator will be involved in the intake, discharge and on-going treatment of the youth and their families.
  • Oversee the caseloads of the Therapists and ensure that the clinical treatment interventions are appropriate and adequate.
  • Review all quarterly reports to ensure quality and timeliness.
  • Provide individual and groups supervision for the Associate Therapists, including reviewing and signing of case notes, and other required clinical documentation.
  • Coordinate specialized therapy groups, attend IEP meetings and CFT meetings as needed as a representative of the agency.
  • Ongoing training for DMH requirements will be provided.


  • A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling or closely related field. Clinical License (LMFT or LCSW) required.
  • Must have experience working in a facility/program similar to Trinity as a Therapist and in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with the Department of Mental Health (DMH) or Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record reporting preferred.
  • Must be well organized and able to assume a position of strong leadership within the clinical team.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a physical examination; drug clearance; criminal background check and Child Abuse Index check.
  • Must possess a valid California driver’s license with clean DMV history and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by Trinity’s insurance carrier.
  • Should have an interest in working directly with youth in accordance with the general requirements as established in the California Administrative Code, Title 22.
  • Writing and verbal skills and the ability to compose quality reports and other necessary correspondence are essential.
  • Must communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing in English.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus and strongly preferred.

Salary: Starting salary is dependent on education and experience. Annual performance bonus available.
