Psychiatrist(s) (M.D) For Foster Youth (Contract)

Trinity Youth Services is seeking Contract Psychiatrists to provide psychiatric assessments, monitor medications for those to whom medications are prescribed, and participate in Child and Family Team Meetings. The psychiatrist must also complete County Mental Health documentation as well as submit paperwork to the courts for prescription approval. Weekly consultations needed for foster youth in the Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. 7-8 hours per week with occasional early evening appointments (every two weeks).
Skills/Requirements: Psychiatrist, MD: DCA License Verification, DEA registration, AND one of the following to demonstrate eligibility:
- Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry i.e. from ABPN (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology) or
- ACGME (Accredited Council for Graduate Medical Education)-sponsored Residency Program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
