Trinity Youth Services’ 50th Anniversary Soirée

19th of October 2016

Trinity Soiree

For 50 years, Trinity Youth Services has helped children and families create a better future. Established in 1966, the organization has served over 60,000 trauma-affected children and on Saturday, October 15, over 100 guests gathered at the historic Garner House in Claremont to celebrate Trinity Youth Services’ 50th anniversary.

Trinity Soiree

Among the guests were supporters, employees, board members, chamber members, local residents and dignitaries including Congresswoman Judy Chu, Claremont Mayor Sam Pedroza, Claremont Chamber CEO Maureen Aldridge and Chair Nikki Coulas, Deputy District Director Matthew Lyons on behalf of Assemblymember Chris R. Holden, and District Director Rachel Barbosa on behalf of Supervisor Hilda L. Solis. After being presented with certificates of congratulations, Trinity Youth Services CEO, John Neiuber, led guests in a toast to the organization’s 50 years of service.

Local restaurants contributed appetizers for guests to enjoy as they browsed the exhibition space, which featured information about the organization. Guests learned about foster care, adoption, residential treatment centers, mental health programs and the history of Trinity Youth Services. The walls of the exhibit were adorned with a photo timeline of Trinity’s programs over the past 50 years.

Trinity SoireeTastings included a celebratory champagne cocktail provided by Vom Fass, craft beer from Claremont Craft Ales and wine from Plume Ridge Bottle Shop. Refreshments were complemented by tapas from Nuno’s Bistro and Bar, a cheese platter from Cheese Cave, appetizers from 50-fifty Asian Fusion Cuisine and seasonal berry cobbler and pumpkin pie from I Like Pie Bakeshop.

Soiree Music

The Robbie Davis Jazz Trio performed as a slideshow displayed images of past and present employees and volunteers making a difference in the lives of children.

Soiree Red Carpet

D’Avello Photography contributed to the festivities by hosting a red carpet-style photo opportunity for attendees to enjoy—a perfect keepsake for guests to remember the evening.

As a special finale, the Children’s Foundation of America conducted a “Shopping by Chance” raffle, raising $700 for children in Trinity Youth Services’ care.
